The Reading Nook: Cozy Escapes Into the World of Literature, By Samonte

Every book has become  an escape for me  into their different worlds. I started reading as a kid, during my 4th grade, I discovered reading e-books in the app called Wattpad. It offered a variety of books, from English and Tagalog, fantasy, horror, romance, and many more. Because of this, I grew fond for reading books as they also served as my escape during the times we had a problem in our house. 

 It helped me  distract myself from the problems, noise, and the things weighing me down. Because even for a while, everything was okay and I can go inside that world where I can read the stories of different people and find joy in them. Reading has not only been an escape for me but also has molded me into who I am and how I think, it honed my values and principles, whether it be love life, academics or life in general. Because of this, I intend on building a stronger foundation for my consistency in reading books so that this way I can work on my vocabulary, widen my imaginations, and be open to other genres.
